Less than a year from the foundation of the JT International concept the company founders Boris Kolev & Bilyana Hristova won a great price in the BusinessWeek Magazine’s contest “Europe’s Best Young Entrepreneurs 2007”. The Magazine readers placed the two young Bulgarians - Boris Kolev(18) and Bilyana Hristova(21) on the 2^nd place for the most promising young entrepreneurs in Europe. This is a great acknowledgement for the two young people just after the foundation of their first start-up. It’s also a great recognition for the company and for country as well. Boris and Bilyana are the first Bulgarians appeared in the contest until now, but they proved that even the criticized Bulgarian economic and education systems can produce successful and ambitions young people who are highly competitive on the world market and think in high scales.
The price has higher value also because Boris and Bilyana are the youngest among the all nominees in the final voting. This great acknowledgement puts the starting-up JT International on very high state and the expectances for the company from now on are set very high, which corresponds with the company’s strategy and vision. Boris and Bilyana goals are not limited in the emerging Bulgarian economy, they are already thinking global.
